and the bigger the empire, the harder it is to keep track of every “top level trusted employee”
Thats why a “boss” PLACES those people in those positions, so the “boss’ doesn’t have to micro-manageAt my businesses height, we were contracting cable installations in systems in 4 different states,,, over a dozen cities/ towns. I had a “top level trusted” manager in each town overseeing the day to say operations.
I would submit a caveat that reverses your statement. If most of them are doing the same things and they’re sharing the gains of those things, THEN it becomes unlikely the top boss does not know what the top level trusted employees are doing.
