S.C. Candidate hosts ‘machine gun social,’ ‘AK 47 giveaway’

Gun politics are alive and well, at least in South Carolina.

A candidate for Adjutant General there — an elected office overseeing the state’s National Guard — is hosting some unconventional fundraising events.

Machinegun Social, September 26, 2009 from 1:00PM-5:00PM at Allen Arms Indoor Range, 1210 Poinsett, Greenville.

AK-47 giveaway. Fill out your free entry form from Wednesday September 9, 2009 through September 25, 2009 at Allen Arms. The law forbids us from holding a raffle but we won’t get mad if you buy a ticket to the machinegun social to help defray the costs.

And if you contribute, you’ll be made an honorary member of Allen’s Militia.
