Hey, Alouette, if you’re around, do you know anything of the products of the Kibbutz Revadim? My wife got a necklace with a piece of glass in it that it claims is 2000 years old and has a patina from ‘interaction with the soil.’
I sell “Roman Glass” jewelry at the Zionist Mall. They are always finding pieces of glass at archaeological sites and these are sold to jewelry makers who use them to make some very beautiful pieces. The patina shades range from deep blue to light green. The Israel Museum certifies the pieces as authentic.
