The Convention is a formality. There’s no reason states can’t send their delegate counts to the DNC ahead of the convention and certify President Biden as the candidate. Then they can have their party and relax.

Hell, he’s got enough delegates now. Certify him tomorrow, make it official, and say that the total delegate count will be recognized at the Convention in August.
