Agreed, though at this time I suspect economic sanctions and bank freezes are about the best we can hope for. He’s pushed troops into the Donbass with the intent of all but daring Ukraine and the West to remove them by force so he finally has his casus belli to declare open war on Kyiv. Odds are he’s looking to stage another “annexation” such as he did in Crimea, forcing the new “republics” to vote to join Russia so as to make his land grab legit.
