Thanks. I saw that Fred Trump started with some $200 million from his father in the 30’s. That doesn’t say much for having at most $400 million when he died many years later.
I also saw that $200 million invested at the rate of inflation in the 30’s would be worth some $40 billion by now (less living expenses), although I haven’t checked the calculation.
It is also interesting that the “free enterprise” guru was riding the wave of government housing programs./
Release his tax records? That would be interesting. I’m not sure if he has to as a Presidential candidate. If so that probably guarantees he won’t run.
