Hmmm. I know of that book, but haven’t read it. Looks like i should.

It does help to encapsulate the difficulty with health care legislation, though. The individual stories are far more compelling than boring numbers, but we risk doing more harm than good in response. How many people have become sicker because they’ve had more trouble finding a physician who accepts Medicare patients? How much harm have we enabled because of rules created in response to the exception, rather than the rule?
