It looks like the Foothills here west of Denver will finally be getting a measurable snow fall… and really cold…
“This season’s first significant snow event will move through the Front Range and Denver Metro on Thursday with 4 to 8 inches expected in the Denver Metro and 5 to 10 inches in the Front Range Foothills. Frigid temperatures of below zero will plunge the wind chill values of below -20 in some areas at night.
The main impact will be hazardous travel conditions with near blizzard conditions at times. Expect delays and possibly closures along I-70 and Hwy 285 due weather conditions and accidents.”
I have to work this afternoon/evening… this starts tomorrow during the day. I have to work tomorrow during the day. I have 4 miles of Hwy 285 between work and my house (plus a few miles of country roads).
