Has any candidate in the history of time ever done such a good job of doing his opponents Oppo Research for them as Trump has done? I swear that Trump is trying to throw this.

Think about it, 4 years of having to be President, deal with Congress, be ‘responsible’, or lose in a land slide, and spend the next 4 years sucking down YUUGE checks for speaking engagements and getting a seat at the ‘pundits’ table.

I swear it’s one of the most brilliant long cons ever pulled.

RBS’s comment brings up something a friend and I have been discussing. We wonder if the Republicans really do not want the high office of president because then they would actually have to be totally responsible for getting stuff done.

By allowing the Democrats the position and them having control of congress they can lob bombs and bitch about the Democratic president and keep their base revved up and keep them in their seats in their drawn up districts.

This way they have power to get their way or block everything.

It sure does seem to be their tactic over the last few elections.

It is one big reason we have to kick their sorry butts out of congress to move to the real things that need to be done.
