re: #11 Big Beautiful Door

Allowing public demonstrations is one thing. Allowing terrorist organizations to operate openly can only lead to bad things. We wouldn’t let Deash demonstrate in a US city; the same standard should apply to the Klan.

The problem is that there is no such thing as THE Klan, with a corporate existence that could be held accountable for actions committed under its name. There hasn’t been since 1944, when the 1915 Klan was dissolved for failure to pay its taxes. Instead we have an endless array of small, often temporary groups, that flit in and out of existence like maggots and flies. This is why we sometimes see Klan groups demonstrating against each other, and why it is so hard to keep track of them.
