The Iberian peninsula was a merry mixture. The literal Iberians were probably Berber-speakers from across the Straits, but the main population of the Peninsula were Celts before the Romans took over. Then of course, the Visigoths. I’m ignoring the Carthaginians, because they never amounted to much populationwise.
All predated by Neanderthals. It appears that Iberia was their last stand.
