They seemed to have dampened the effects of the Evergrande collapse, but something like that is going to send out serious ripples even if managed well.

Oh yeah, that could’ve easily become a Lehman Bros moment for them, and thanks to some good stewardship, they’ve largely avoided a catastrophic meltdown. But there’s still likely going to be some fallout in any event.
