Uncle was a fire inspector at plants in the 1950’s. He didn’t eat much hamburger.

My dad worked at Kraft Foods for over 30 years in their environmental department, mostly dealing with waste water treatment facilities. I know what goes into Oscar Meyer hot dogs.

Worked at an Armour meat plant for awhile. Most of it didn’t bother me but I will NEVER eat at a White Castle. That line squicked me.

This is why I buy all my red meat and poultry from the kosher butcher. And Hebrew National are my only hot dogs.

I’m not kosher, I’ll bring that ground beef home and make cheeseburgers with it. But still. I also, when possible, aim for grass-fed beef and free-range chicken.
