I have a lot of neat stories. Did some digging with people with one of my Irish surnames from the village. IRA men in the war of independence in Ireland in the 20’s! More rebels since moms dad had partisans in WWII and moms Mom might have too. Now if only I can find my Germans were anti Hitler. But I’m not asking the German cousins I have. It’s a sensitive subject for them given they both grew up in WWII.

Since it has been so long ago and they are cousins, I probably would dare to ask them. After all, it’s your history, too.
