It’s a chick thing. Even though we in the US don’t have the same affinity for aristocracy (aside from celebrities) we still raise girls with the prince charming tales. The regular wedding ceremony is just a princess for a day passion play. To chicks the royal wedding is like watching someone win the Superbowl.

I’m not interested at all, and I do like the Brits in general. Especially their sense of humor. But I finds Will and Kate to be about the most dull couple ever. Celeb weddings in general are also dull. If someone starts doing the Electric Slide, I might be impressed.
