1. If he logged out immediately after entering the comment and did not see your responses, he may not have realize the reaction.
2. If an offensive post here happens in the middle of the night, it’s probably going to remain out there till the morning. It’s not like someone is monitoring the site 24 hours a day.

Well, re point 2: someone actually deleted* the comment (#44 isn’t even on the numbered list any more) - and it was gone by the time I saw it this morning (though I got up quite late today) - it was posted at 21:36 PT. SO someone is watching…

And re point 1: unlikely: this feels like a deliberate hit-and-run.
