The biggest victory they could win would be to convince people to stop fighting. Despair does that. It’s insidious.

I really do look for a victory every day. One day may be a big march, the next day may be a phone call to my Senators, the next may be a conversation with someone souring on Trump.

Some days it’s court rulings and other days it’s teaching one of my son’s friends about the three branches of government when I’m driving carpool.

One victory a day.
