I guess I should add we’re dealing with reduced capabilities here, which doesn’t necessarily apply to end-of-life care.
But yeah, I knew a severely disabled, incontinent, wheelchair bound guy at work. He coudln’t talk, and had terrible seizures, but what little he could communicate was often happiness.
there is a powerful message in there…the fact that you remember and admire him is profound…the zest for life and all that
