That’s a gross recipe but it doesn’t have to be that bad.
My great aunt used to make Chicken and Rice with a cup (uncooked) rice, one can of mushroom soup, two cans of cream of celery & three cans of milk. Mix and spoon over the cut up chicken. Bake at 350 till it falls from the bone (usually ~2 hours). Excellent Sunday evening dinner. I still make it, occasionally with a layer of tater tots.
