So I tried to go with FreeBSD on the new laptop.

Found drivers for almost everything but the one thing I couldn’t was a showstopper: no wireless drivers for the chipset in this Acer. Bleah.

For now I’ve reinstalled Windows 10 and have 11 downloading to give it a try while I research Debian &/or the other BSDs to see their wireless situation.

But a Ryzen 3 w/4 cores, 20 gb ram and nvme m2 storage is snappy fast :)
