I doubt even they believe the appeal will succeed, but there is value in granting cert if only to delay the trials until June at the earliest. So they’re not arguing that they genuinely believe Trump will succeed, but instead they should at least hear him out for…reasons.

If they’re going to hear him out for…reasons…they should require him to argue his case himself so that they have to be subjected to his leaky diaper stench while he shouts that THEY OWE HIM and they should declare him king.
