Really, she’s got nothing to lose…so she might as well stay in and continue to bedevil Trump. And who knows? Maybe she’ll get a stroke of good fortune and Trump ends up in the slammer (or under house arrest) after being found guilty of committing a felony crime.

That’s really the long and short of it, she has little to lose by staying in the race and a lot to gain if she’s the only one standing as an alternative should something happen to him. He might neutralize that a bit if and when he announces his VP pick, but right now they’re the only two running so she’s the next in line if the party has to slam the panic button.
