Switzerland can afford the consequences of its actions

The Swiss GDP is smaller than the Dutch one, and because of all the critical bilateral agreements between the EU and Switzerland, the rest of Europe could really squeeze Switzerland’s gonads if they wanted to.

I don’t think the political will is there, though, especially with Germany having the same mercantilist worldview.
