I disagree. That depends on the laws. After all, our government has passed laws prohibiting companies from discriminating based on race, religion, gender; demanding reduced working hours and requiring minimum pay for hours worked; imposing safety requirements on the operation of facilities; outlawing lead in gasoline; outlawing dangerous drugs and requiring than any pharmaceutical products meet safety and effectiveness rules; imposing rules to stop pollution. Etc. etc.
