I understand your demonic advocacy, but we cannot compare our system (if you can call it that) of immigration and our laws, procedures and policies for dealing with him in any kind of comparable terms with most any other nation.

They do not have long, open borders, most of them have a registration system that makes it difficult for undocumented immigrants to get established, as it is illegal for them to enroll their children in schools, open a bank account or even sign a lease without establishing legal residence.

Which means that their economy isn’t as dependent on it as ours either.
