Thanos has a Page up that got me thinking. The prospect of my car someday driving for me.

Criminals are no doubt salivating over all the potential ways to exploit them, should they ever become a viable option.

Forgive me if I sound cynical, but after installing the WP security plugins I mentioned yesterday, it’s crystal clear¹ that there are non-stop attempts to hack websites, especially those using popular software. I’m 100% convinced that self-driving cars would be attacked with similar gusto.

1. I’m currently looking at the audit logs for a site right now—mind you, its not an especially high traffic one either. Since midnight there have been 36 failed attempts to access the admin area, so on average roughly one attempt every 20 minutes or so.
