re: #216 sagehen

no, he’s a rightist antisemite.

Here’s how to tell the difference:

leftwing antisemitism — “I don’t hate Jews, just zionists and Israelis. Many of whom are Jewish, but I have no problem with non-zionist non-Israeli Jews. I love Palestinians. And I hate neocons, who I’m going to pretend are all Jewish because I think they’re mostly zionist.”

rightwing antisemitism — “I hate zionist Jews, and non-zionist Jews, and I especially don’t trust Jewish bankers and media owners, who there seem to be a lot of. And I’m really not fond of Palestinians either.”

But since both groups inevitably get around to talking about the International Jooish Banking Konspiracy, it would be fair to state that, as I believe Dr. Joseph Bell once observed, “A ‘difference’ which makes no difference, is no difference.”

Also note that both groups either (a) cannot accurately define the term “Zionist” and/or (b) fall back on the “If you want me to explain it to you, you must be one yourself” straw man argument.

/been there, one that with both sorts.

cheers
