Scott Walker touts Wisconsin business growth in Racine speech

As he ramps up his expected bid for president, Gov. Scott Walker touted his record on business Wednesday night in front of about 500 people at Festival Hall.
Speaking at the Racine Area Manufacturers and Commerce annual dinner, Walker highlighted the state’s declining unemployment rate, about $2 billion in tax relief and workforce development initiatives over his past four-plus years as governor.

Walker told a friendly audience, which gave him standing ovations as he entered and left the stage, that tax relief is the biggest key to job growth.
