It boggles the mind, sometimes. I have to wonder, though - what happens if the American people pick a GOP candidate that the GOP machine don’t like? Will they let Obama push through his nominee then?

I think the Senate GOP has convinced itself that the GOP will both retain the Senate (and House) and win the presidency in 2016, with absolute certainty.
