Back in 2010, my then-wife was turned down for health insurance and forced to buy in the high risk pool Reason? Dry scalp. No shit. Official reason on paperwork. No other conditions. Except being a woman over 55, of course but they can’t put that on paper.

I got turned down in the 1980s because a had a biopsy that showed I didn’t have cancer.
