If I’d bother responding to his nonsense, I’d ask him a simple question: if he were in, and survived, say, a shipwreck or plane crash in a remote area, what would be his attitude towards “institutional credibility” re search and rescue operations? Or would he be OK with authorities just saying, “screw it, they’re probably dead, let’s go home“….?
