Makes sense. But then look at sexual offenders. Once they’re released the have to registers with the authorities sometimes for the rest of their lives. There are limits and curbs placed on their freedoms. Also consider that voting is sometimes prohibited for felons in certain states.

Sexual predators, IMHO, should not be released. A nice mental hospital would be fine.
