What’s your opinion on Trump using those addresses in FL? I suspect he was trying to pull a fast one, hoping the AG wouldn’t read them too closely, then his lawyers would try to argue in a FL courtroom that NY has no jurisdiction.

It most certainly is an attempt to circumvent the NYS monitor and ability to attach. However, the state has clearly found a pattern of behavior by Trumpworld and its business organizations’ properties around the nation routinely inflating values to members/creditors, while lying about the valuations to tax authorities. The businesses were NY businesses at the times the crimes occurred, so it will still be able to attach conditions to those properties and the businesses that operate them (the small business corporations - the LLCs, LLPs, S corps) that Trump set up for each. It is possible that Trumpworld thinks that moving them to FL will allow the FL AG to interfere and thwart the outcome.
