Witness prep for trial testimony is an artform, and prosecutors are well versed in dealing with witnesses who are combative, unwilling to testify, or want to put the screws to a defendant by any means necessary, even if it may blow up the prosecution case.

I’m sure that prosecutors spoke with her before she takes the stand again, to make sure that she answers truthfully, doesn’t embellish with details that aren’t critical to the case, and sticks to the questions asked and doesn’t go beyond it.

Defense team is hoping to get her to spew something sufficient to cause a mistrial, but I don’t see that happening after Merchan ruled on Tuesday.

After she is done with her testimony, not sure who prosecutors call next, but it might just be Cohen. He’s the other central figure involved in the payment scheme besides Trump.
