TL:DR My theory - the DOJ has really awful material from a Bedmister search. It wpuld not like these to be known to be out in the wild. So, instead of indicting Trump they will use these as leverage to make Trump behave in the Florida trial.

The Mar-a-Lago indictment mentions transporting boxes of documents to Bedminster but does not charge them with that, even though they could. Why?

What if the FBI actually did search Bedminster? The only way we would know is if Trump told us. Why wouldn’t he? Because these were his best of the best, the ones he really knew he could sell and also know he could be in big trouble over. If he kept his mouth shut no one would realize before the DOJ indicted him in New Jersey. Maybe he could get elected and pardon himself.

So why have they not indicted him in NJ? Well, these would be really sensitive materials. Traitor stuff. The DOJ would really not like them to even be known were out there much less dealt with in an open court. even a realtively closed one. So, they are using them as levarage over Trump.

Let the Florida trial proceed without funny stiff and take the consequences. Don’t play ball and we indict you in NJ.
