Regardless of Musk’s shenanigans, I’m looking forward to starship. If/when it works (and unlike some of his other ventures, SpaceX has delivered), it’ll be a massive game changer.

If I were running a Galactic empire I would put all star systems whose inhabitants are nearing space flight capability under surveillance.

If those inhabitants bring bad habits with them into space, like trashing the environment of their home planet so badly they need to flee to space, I’d give a shoot to kill order vs. all their space ships.

It would be pest control.
