I suspect he’s having a devil of a time raising the money to appeal these decisions. He probably couldn’t get a bond for first Carroll judgement, hence the cash, and he’s probably finding it impossible to get bonds for the second Carroll judgement and the NY AG judgement, too.

The latter two represent some half a billion dollars - and despite his assertion under oath that he’s got about 400 million in cash on hand, I doubt he actually does have that much moolah in his couch cushions.
