This is something that’s always fascinated me: why certain illnesses or medications impact the way we dream. We’ve all I’m sure been through a fever dream, for instance. Why are those invariably bad? In some ways you’d think maybe the body would encourage sleep in illness by making the dreams really excellent. Presumably because it doesn’t want to reward the body for sickness, maybe.
