I agree. And yes, I remember that Barbara Bush had said something negative about Sarah Palin. I admire Mrs. Bush for that.

It’s breathtaking just how consequential it could be if Gingrich has the opportunity to hold true to what he said, and give Palin a “prominent role” in his administration. If she were (e.g.) Secretary of Energy, or the Department of Health and Human Services, or even “only” the Department of Transportation, she would get to make some very big decisions, that would have real effects on real people.
