It seemed to just disappear, even though I think it is one of Kyle MacLachlan’s best. ANd it played it really straight for much of it. Plus it has some really creepy scenes that are not forgotten soon.

I wonder if it is streamable form somewhere?

I remember seeing it back in the day on the Scifi Channel when their lineup was mostly old scifi B-movies and reruns of syndicated scifi series from the 70s and 80s. You know, sort of like how ESPN used to have to broadcast any “sport” they could get their hands on, so that you found yourself watching regional cheerleading competitions or little league softball tournaments because there were no other “sports” on in the dead of night.
