re: #89 A Mom Anon

As someone who is living on the edge of financial ruin, and as someone whose life would be changed for the good forever with just these fools’ wiping your ass money, I really wish the American people overall would vote to just tax these ridiculous humans so they can’t do that much damage AND make the world a little better at the same time. There is no way in Hell or anywhere else that these people are somehow better than the rest of us AND GOT THERE ALONE. All that wealth is not possibly generated by one human alone, a lot has to happen in a lot of often awful layers to get there. And, more than a little amount of shenanigans happen to accumulate that much wiping your ass money. TAX THE RICH and at least let us poor burdens have some decent healthcare that won’t financially ruin us, affordable food and the ability to have a decent roof over our heads. Maybe then we won’t daydream about the rich asshat’s club demise. I am so tired of this fucked up bullshit that people with a lot of money are some sort of super genius who knows everything. NO. I have seen and heard enough lately from people looking down their nose at people who simply had some shitty things happen that they were not in control of. Resources and opportunities are NOT evenly distributed and that needs to be remedied, by taxing rich fools and taking their wiping your ass money.

Unlike a lot of billionaires who make their money from investments, most pro athletes are taxed as income and pay the top rate. I am sure there are plenty of accounting tricks and tax write offs and deferrals and carried losses and what not to minimize it, but it isn’t like they are paying a lower rate than their personal assistants at least.
