Quite frankly, I saw the “Kidnap victim attacks cops” headline yesterday and my first thought was “Bullshit”.

The most likely scenario is, they were exchanging fire with the kidnapper, she got out of the car to reveal her presence, they shot the ever-loving daylights out of her, and now they’re trying to cover for themselves.
