Basically, the same logic as “Stand Your Ground”—the actual legal system now incorporates vibes, but only if those vibes can be filtered through acceptable cultural norms.

Religious people will not have to, beforehand, state what they won’t do…they’re the deciders now, in the breach.

I am sure hospital lawyers will be gritting their teeth at this if it holds up. One fanatic in the ER who refuses to treat due to a claimed religious exemption. And then the hospital gets sued based on a number of state or federal statutes. And I am pretty sure a hospital will not be allowed to question potential employees along these lines and hire or not hire accordingly without challenge.
