What if the person who committed the crime has truly changed his life for the better? Still no full forgiveness?

In my mind, not if they committed the initial violent crime with a gun. They will have to get by hunting with a bow. If they don’t hunt, they don’t need a gun to begin with (I know, I know, self defense. Get a fucking blow gun for home invasion repellant)
